So, you are going on a weekend away to {insert amazing European city here}, and you are flying with hand luggage only. This means you can only fill a tiny plastic bag with all of the liquid toiletries that you might need.
How do you fit all of your toiletries into that one little plastic ziplock bag?!
Here are some tips:
Need Shampoo & Conditioner?
Lush make shampoo and conditioner bars which look like bars of soap. As these are therefore not liquids, you’ve just cleared up some room in that little ziplock!
Perfume?
Don’t take your big bottles! Get the roll-on sticks from shops like H&M or Next.
My liquid is under the size limit but I can’t fit it all in my ziplock:
Get yourself on down to Boots and pick up a 5 tier circular tower of screw lid pots. You can use each pot for your moisturiser, face wash, hair serums etc. You are only going away for the weekend so you do NOT need 100ml of the stuff!
Cleanser/Toner?
If you can’t fit it all, go for the Face Wipes. It’s only a couple of days off your more rigid routine and these save you more room in your liquids!
Going somewhere tropical?
Boots now carries mini sunscreen sprays. Yes this is a liquid – but you’ve already saved so much room so get the spray-on sunscreen for quick application on vacation!
Also – afraid of getting bitten by Mosquitos? Boots ALSO now stock these mosquito wipes. They come in the same packaging as face wipes but have insect repellent on them! Marvellous cos you’ve now also saved room by not having to take your spray/lotion.
Mascara?
Save those sample sized ones you get in magazines, Clinique Gift Time or beauty stores for when you are travelling!
What are some of your carry-on toiletry life hacks?

Another great tip: have your friends put your liquids in their bags when you bring 100 products to Iceland and ask them just before you are going through airport security so they literally can’t say no. Love you and these tips!
I’ve learned a lot in my time 🙂
Hehe, was just going to suggest the same
OR
Bring a GIANT carry on plastic bag for liquids and see if security will let you through
PS- Did not know about the mozzie wipes. Very cool.
