The biggest show of national pride I’ve ever come across, KINGS DAY celebrates King Willem Alexander’s birthday and the nation celebrates by getting very drunk!

The AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVAL occurs each year, where Amsterdam lights up the night with luminescent art works placed all over the city!

ICE-SKATING ON FROZEN LAKES IN AMSTERDAM was one of my favourite activities during winter!
